Luis Miguel specializes in providing tax advice to local and foreign companies, with a focus on matters such as issuance and/or assignment of debt instruments, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investments in real estate income. Luis Miguel has extensive experience in assisting companies in numerous tax audit procedures and/or tax litigation. Moreover, as part of the Private Wealth practice, Luis Miguel provides tax advice to individuals in connection with tax compliance in matters such as investment structuring and tax residency, among others. In addition, he represents individuals in tax audit procedures and tax litigation. He has published various articles and papers in Tax Law magazines and forums and has participated as a speaker in academic seminars. He joined the firm as an Associate in 2014 and previously worked at Ernst & Young (2010 – 2013) and at Deloitte (2008 – 2010). Luis Miguel is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima and is a member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law - IPDT and the International Fiscal Association - IFA. Likewise, he successfully completed the international taxation course, International Tax Planning, carried out in Curaçao (October 2013), by the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IFBD). He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
