His professional practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, project finance, dispute resolution (investment arbitration) and corporate, commercial and civil law. He has led M&A transactions both in Peru and in other countries in the region, subject to local and foreign laws, the latter in collaboration with some of the leading law firms in the region. He also heads the Corporate Compliance Practice. He joined Miranda & Amado in 2000 as an Associate and became a Partner in 2010. From 2003 to 2004 he worked as an Associate at White & Case LLP in Washington, D.C. He holds a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master of Laws with a concentration in International Finance from Harvard University. He is admitted to practice in Peru (2001) and New York (2003). Since 2013 he has been a professor of Corporate Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. That same year he also taught at Universidad del Pacífico. Between 2008 and 2013 he taught various courses related to corporate law at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, including the Master’s Program in Business Law in 2010 and 2011. His native language is Spanish and he speaks fluent English.
