Miranda & Amado announced that it has named Gabriela Dañino, Renzo Agurto and Willy Pedreschi, partners in its Finance, Insolvency and Regulatory practice areas, respectively.

“The Firm has stepped up its leadership by appointing counsel who combine broad experience with a modern view of legal consulting, in line with the challenges faced by the legal services industry,” said Luis Miranda, managing partner of Miranda & Amado.

A member of Miranda & Amado’s team for more than thirteen years, Gabriela Dañino had been a senior associate at the Firm’s Finance practice area since 2013. She is a lawyer graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and holds an LL.M. from Harvard University. One of the highlights of her career has been her stint as an international associate in the New York offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Her professional practice focuses on advising, negotiating and structuring numerous local and international financing transactions.

In turn, Renzo Agurto had held the position of counsel in the Firm’s Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring practice area since 2015. His vast expertise stems from having participated in several complex corporate restructuring and liquidation transactions exceeding USD 900 million in liabilities. He earned his LL.B. from Universidad de Lima and has a master’s degree in Business, Corporate and Maritime Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Holland. His teaching experience comes from working at the graduate program of Universidad ESAN and at the PUCP.

Willy Pedreschi, a counsel to the Firm’s Regulatory practice area since 2018, earned his LL.B. from the PUCP and completed the Master of Regulation program given at the Graduate School of Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). His professional practice focuses on administrative, public and regulatory law. He has taught at the PUCP and has been a speaker on his field of expertise at several conferences.

These three new appointments are consistent with Miranda & Amado’s comprehensive advisory strategy, which aims at serving all the legal needs of its clients, who primarily fall within the corporate segment.
