Miranda & Amado recognized as The Peruvian Law Firm of the Year by International Financial Law Review

Miranda & Amado was recognized as the “Peruvian Law Firm of the Year” for the second consecutive year by renowned law publication International Financial Law Review (IFLR).

“This recognition strengthens our commitment to providing legal services of the highest quality, and inspires us to continue reinventing ourselves to meet our clients’ expectations,” said Juan Luis Avendaño, a partner at the firm.

Winners are selected first by reviewing the deals carried out by law firms throughout the year. Those that stand out do so because of the innovation and the complexity of the deals completed. Finally, client and colleague interviews are conducted to help determine the winners.

It is worth noting that Miranda & Amado has been recognized as the “Peruvian Law Firm of the Year” twice before and has also received the “Project Finance Deal of the Year” award.  Moreover, partner Rocio Liu has been recognized as “Best Tax Lawyer in Latin America” in 2016 and 2013.

The awards ceremony took place yesterday -May 18- in New York city during the IFLR Americas Awards Dinner, which brought together key representatives of the region’s top legal firms.
