Willy Pedreschi joins Miranda & Amado

Miranda & Amado have announced that Willy Pedreschi will be joining the firm as counsel on January 22, 2018.

41-year old Pedreschi was until recently a partner with Benites, Forno & Ugaz, a firm in which he spent practically all of his career of more than 20 years. He specializes in administrative law, regulatory and public law, also having experience with project development.

He will join the regulatory group of Miranda & Amado, focusing on his areas of expertise. It is envisaged that he will also work very closely with the firm’s prominent projects, arbitration and litigation practices; the latter ones having been recently invigorated through the merger with litigation boutique Priori & Carrillo, effective as of January 3 2018.

Managing Partner Alberto Delgado commented: “We are glad that Willy accepted our proposal and is joining the firm in the next few days. This move is not only a reaction to recent personnel changes, but is inserted in our long-term view with regards to our regulatory, administrative and public law practices. We see this as an opportunity to build an even stronger team.”

Senior associate Claudia Tengan recently left the firm on amicable terms to spend more time with her family. It is noteworthy that the firm is replacing Tengan with a more senior lawyer who has been the leader of Benites’ practice for several years.
