Miranda & Amado partners José Daniel Amado and Mauricio Raffo participated in the Eleventh International Congress on Arbitration entitled “Good Practices in Arbitration”, which was held in the city of Lima, from April 26 to 28.

In this congress edition, José Daniel Amado, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Instituto Peruano de Arbitraje (IPA) and President of the Peruvian Chapter of the Club Español del Arbitraje, shared the presentation “Commercial Arbitration in Public Procurement Disputes and Investment Arbitration in Peru: New Challenges”.  On the other hand, Mauricio Raffo chaired the panel discussion named “Timeliness of evidence presentation and assessment by the Arbitral Tribunal”.

Hosted by IPA, this congress stands out as one of the most significant events for practitioners in the fields of commercial arbitration and investment arbitration as it brings together distinguished arbitrators, partners from world-class law firms, magistrates, lawyers, businessmen, public officials, among others.

Once the event was closed, Miranda & Amado hosted a cocktail reception at Lima Marina Club for Peruvian and foreign sponsors and participants alike.
