All four Affinitas law firms have been nominated for the “Law Firm of the Year” award in their respective countries in the 2017 edition of the Chambers Latin America Awards, organized by prestigious international publication Chambers & Partners.

Colombia’s Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta, Chile’s Barros & Errázuriz, Mexico’s Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes, and Peru’s Miranda & Amado have all been pre-selected based on their notable achievements, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service over the past 12 months.

“The nomination reflects the joint effort made by Alliance members to broaden the spectrum of the legal profession in the countries where we are based, strengthening our commitment to continue offering quality advice to our clients in the region,” said Juan Mijares, Executive Secretary of Affinitas.

The awards ceremony will be held in South Beach, Florida on Friday, September 15, honoring such firms whose work reflects their pre-eminence in key practice areas in Latin America.

Affinitas is a Latin American-based alliance of four leading independent law firms from Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru.  Since its inception in 2004, the law firms have learned how to work together to provide their clients with an integrated service, offering advice based on the regulatory framework, and social and institutional contexts specific to each country.
