Her professional practice focuses on Litigation and Arbitration. She has focused on the design and execution of strategies for the prevention and resolution of disputes in corporate, criminal, administrative litigation affairs and public procurement which included negotiation, litigation as well as arbitration. She has participated in complex cases assuming the legal defense of private and public entities that belong to different industries such as education, mining, retail, health, insurance and others. She joined the firm as an associate in 2024. She has been a former Senior Associate at Galvez Monteagudo law firm (2022-2024). She also was a Counsel at Fort, Bertorini & Godoy Law firm (2019-2022); and a Senior Associate at Raul Canelo Rabanal law firm (2010-2019). Within the Public Sector, she was a lawyer at the National Superintendence of Migration (2021). She achieved an LL.B and a Master Degree with mention in Criminal Sciences from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Marlene reached a Business and Financial Law Diploma from Universidad ESAN and attended a specialization to be considered available candidate as an arbitrator of the National Registry of Arbitrators of the OSCE. A Spanish native speaker, she is fluent in English and speaks Italian at an intermediate level.
