His professional practice is focused on structuring, negotiating and implementing transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, business reorganizations, as well as capital markets regulation and corporate law. He has been an associate of Miranda & Amado since 2014. Previously, he worked at Estudio Ferrero Abogados (2013 – 2014). Javier is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The University of Chicago Law School. Winner of the Robert D. Cooter award at the XVII Annual Conference of the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Law and Economy (ALACDE). He is currently a professor of Corporate Transactions at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well of Corporate Law at the Master’s Program in Business Law at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). Moreover, he has been an adjunct professor of Business Organizations and Institutions of Corporate Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
