His practice is focused on dispute resolution, either in negotiations to resolve them or sponsorship in arbitrations and in civil, constitutional, and administrative proceedings. During 2022, he worked as an international associate at the New York offices of Chaffetz Lindsey LLP. He joined the firm as an Associate in 2018. Previously, he was a Partner at Priori & Carrillo Abogados (2007 to 2017). Carlos is a Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has a Master’s Degree from Queen Mary University of London. He is a professor in the Law Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where he teaches procedural law. He is a speaker at various congresses on procedural law and arbitration and author of several articles in specialized law magazines and co-author of a book on procedural law. He is a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law and its Working Group on Collective Processes. Also, he is part of the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima and an Ambassador of Queen Mary University of London in Peru. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
