He specializes in environmental law, water resources, and cultural heritage. His practice focuses on advising companies developing mining, energy, agribusiness, industrial, port, and general infrastructure projects on matters related to obtaining licenses, authorizations, and permits before various government authorities. He also advises companies throughout the preparation, review, and approval of environmental management instruments before the relevant authorities, as well as on the conduct and compliance aspects of environmental audits. He has extensive experience representing and defending companies across multiple sectors in environmental administrative enforcement proceedings. He joined Miranda & Amado in 2011 as an Associate and was promoted to Partner in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Estudio Grau Abogados (2010–2011) and Estudio Ferrero Abogados (2008–2010). He is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He holds a postgraduate degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Water Resources Policy from the Institute for Water Education – UNESCO-IHE, The Netherlands (2015), and a Master’s degree in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management from the University of Barcelona, Spain (2020–2022). He was a member of the civil association Ius et Veritas. His native language is Spanish and he speaks fluent English.
